Greg Rodriguez is currently the Government Affairs and Public Policy Advisor for Riverside County 4th District Supervisor Manuel Perez. He is the lead staffer for healthcare policy in the county including behavioral and public health. Greg is also the Supervisor’s lead on homelessness and housing policy within the county. He serves on the Board of Governance for the County’s Housing and Urban Development Continuum of Care Committee (COC), Chairs the COC’s Housing and Sustainability Committee and is the Board of Supervisor’s representative on the Behavioral Health Commission.
After visiting the Coachella Valley for over thirty years, Greg and his family permanently called the desert home in 2006. Greg immediately became active in the community focusing on education and local community activities. He served as PTA President and Treasurer, School Site Council Chair, Chair of the School District’s Bond Oversight Committee, District parental advisory committees, member and President of the Foundation for the Palm Springs Unified School District, and First Vice Chair of the Palm Springs Human Rights Commission. Greg currently sits on the Boards of Desert AIDS Project and Lift to Rise.
Greg is married with two adult children.
