Director of Development, Individual Giving
As Director of Development, James Lindquist draws upon more than a decade of experience stabilizing and improving the lives of people living with HIV / AIDS (PLWHA) and others. He built a strong foundation in development and community relations at Our House, an AIDS Service Organization (ASO) in Oregon, before a successful role in development at Angel View in Palm Springs.
Making an Impact at Angel View in Palm Springs
Most recently, James worked as Director of Development for Angel View in Palm Springs, an organization whose mission is helping children and adults with disabilities reach their maximum potential.
James worked to strengthen and build relationships with other non-profits, chambers, and global network groups like Rotary. During his time, Angel View broke its own record for fundraising in a two-year period.
Angel View has 22 resale stores supporting 19 residential homes, a Day Program, and an Outreach Program that helps kids 18 and younger stay in their homes instead of going into residential care.
One of his favorite memories is seeing how much students enjoyed their school after he convinced Home Depot Palm Springs to provide a major remodel after it had been decaying for many years.
Prior to Angel View, James was Director of Development for Friends of the Palm Springs Animal Shelter.
