FAQs

Can I receive my healthcare at Desert AIDS Project if I’m not HIV-positive?

YES. Since 2012, Desert AIDS Project has provided primary care to individuals not living with HIV, including the partners of our HIV-positive patients. While we do also offer HIV-specialty care, many of our current patients are not living with HIV or AIDS.

Do I need insurance to enroll as a patient at Desert AIDS Project?

NO. D.A.P. is a Federally Qualified Health Center, which means we can provide care to anyone, regardless of ability to pay, or insurance coverage. See Insurance and Payments for more information.

Can I attend Desert AIDS Project event fundraisers for free?

D.A.P. often provides a limited number of complimentary tickets for clients through the Client Services Wing Manager and DAPCAN. Be sure to sign up to receive emails from both to stay in the loop.
