Dr. Joy White practices Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Desert Orthopedic Center where she specializes in work-related musculoskeletal injuries. She earned her medical degree from the Virginia Commonwealth University Medical College of Virginia in Richmond. As a mother of two who is also active with the Girl Scouts of America, Dr. White has been involved with HIV/AIDS education for many years. Her special interest in educating minority women and children is what encouraged her to join D.A.P.’s 100 Women major donor program.
