(PALM SPRINGS, CA – September 15, 2008)
Separately, they’ve each brought drama and excitement to some of the most recognizable TV addresses of all time, including Flamingo Road, Southfork Ranch, and that very busy cul-de-sac in Knott’s Landing, to name just a few. But come February 21, Morgan Fairchild, Linda Gray, and Donna Mills will all be in the same place – the Palm Springs Convention Center – when they take up their duties as co-mistresses of ceremonies for the 2009 Steve Chase Humanitarian Awards.
Of course, those TV shows are just small parts of the impressive resumes of this terrific trio who are sure to bring beauty, charm, and poise (not to mention just a little sass) to the 25th anniversary year gala, benefiting Desert AIDS Project. Already, D.A.P. has announced entertainment legend and philanthropist Barry Manilow as recipient of its Silver Anniversary Community Service Award and AIDS research pioneer and recent Presidential Medal of Freedom Award winner Dr. Anthony Fauci as recipient of the Science and Medicine Award.
D.A.P. will soon be releasing more details about other award winners and recipients, not to mention the headline entertainment that makes the Steve Chase Humanitarian Awards gala one of the “must attend” events of the Palm Springs social season. Tickets are available at $425 each and may be purchased by calling 760-323-2118, ext. 266.
As Presenting Sponsor of the 2009 Steve Chase Humanitarian Awards gala, Integrated Wealth Management (IWM) has contributed $150,000 in cash as well as considerable, in-kind services for printing and promotion. Joining IWM at various levels are the following major sponsors: Wells Fargo, Union Bank, Spencer’s Restaurant, City of Palm Springs, Macy’s, Desert Regional Medical Center, ITEX of the Desert Empire, Wyndham Palm Springs Hotel, Harold Matzner, Gregg Seller, Tim Hanlon and Tony Klatt, Jerry & Barbara Keller, Curt Ringness and Barry Ralph, Annette Block, Marshall Gelfand, Jacqueline Rudman, Helen Galen, and Melvyn Lefkowitz.
