DESERT AIDS PROJECT TO HOST
3RD ANNUAL ARCHITECTURAL HOME TOUR
(PALM SPRINGS, CA – October 31, 2006) Anyone
who enjoys mid-century architecture will enjoy
the upcoming Architectural Home Tour presented
by Desert AIDS Project on Saturday, November 11,
2006. All proceeds from ticket sales will benefit
clients of Desert AIDS Project.
Some of the exclusive homes and properties featured
on this privately hosted tour include the famed
Kaufman House by Richard Neutra, the Williams
Family residence by E. Stewart Williams, the Elrod
Lautner house in Southridge and The Horizon Hotel
by William Cody. The day also includes lunch at
Le Vallauris in Palm Springs and transportation
aboard a comfortable luxury coach with professional
tour guide.
The tour begins at 9:30 a.m. from the Palm Springs
Visitors Center and concludes at 5:30 p.m. Tickets
are $275 per person which includes coffee and
pastries from Starbucks Coffee Company, lunch
at Le Vallauris and high tea reception following
the tour. Tickets for the event are by reservation

Desert AIDS Project at the Greenburg-Peet Family
Center is the organization in our community where
people living with HIV and AIDS can receive comprehensive
services to help manage HIV disease. D.A.P. offers
primary medical care through its Wells Fargo HIV
Health Center. The Project provides widespread
education and prevention services for schools,
civic organizations, businesses, churches and
health organizations throughout the communities
it serves. Anonymous HIV testing is also provided.
