2012 is the 25th anniversary of the Palm Springs AIDS Walk. Join us as we embrace and reflect on 25 years of Care, Prevention and Advocacy.

7:30 AM – Walk Registration
9:00 AM – Welcome and announcements
10:00 AM – Walk Steps Off as the "Community Advocate award recipient for Pride 2012

Where

Along the beautiful and historic Palm Canyon Drive in downtown/uptown Palm Springs. Staging at the Kaiser Permanente facility on the corner of Palm Canyon and Tachevah. There’s plenty of free parking available onsite.

AIDS Walk 2012 Route

This year’s 25^th Anniversary AIDS Walk will make history as we join forces with the annual Palm Springs Pride Parade for a day of remembrance, HIV/AIDS education & awareness and community festivities. This will be the first time an AIDS Walk and Pride Parade have walked together. Walkers can also expect plenty of entertaining surprises along this year’s route as we embrace and reflect on 25 years of Care, Prevention and Advocacy.

Walking and Float Participants

Everyone is welcome at the Walk. Participants are encouraged to wear comfortable shoes and clothing, and well-behaved leashed pets are permitted on the Walk as well. We are diligently planning our AIDS Walk theme, parade float and/or other event-day activities, so keep checking back regularly for updates. Registration

The 25^th Anniversary AIDS Walk registration and fundraising site will be set up by mid-May and we’ll notify you as soon as it’s available. In order to make sure that we can contact you please click here and fill out the general registration information.
