I would like to extend an invitation to you to join us as a volunteer ambassador, host or friend of Dining Out for Life®. On Thursday, April 27, 2006, restaurants across the valley will donate a portion of the evening food sales to benefit the clients of Desert AIDS Project. Dining Out for Life is a national fund-raising event started in Philadelphia in 1991 to raise awareness of HIV/AIDS.
We need people like you to serve as an Ambassador, a Host or a Friend.

As an Ambassador, you agree to attend a brief training session, and contact your friends to join you at your adopted restaurant on April 27th. On the night of the event, Ambassadors greet each diner to thank them for attending the event and to offer them a chance to enter a raffle and to consider making a donation to Desert AIDS Project. |

If unable to serve as Ambassador, please consider serving as a Host. The Host commits to inviting friends to join them at a participating restaurant on Thursday, April 27th. We encourage Hosts to make reservations as soon as possible so that the restaurant can gauge the number of diners to expect on this special night. |

A Friend of Dining Out for Life agrees to do whatever they can to promote the event through email, phone calls and/or postcards. By signing up as a Friend, Desert AIDS Project will make available an email to forward to friends and/or postcards on request.Like every fund-raising event, Dining Out for Life is reliant on an enormous number of volunteers. We appreciate your consideration to volunteer or simply dine out on this one special day - Thursday, April 27th. |
Your participation will help us maintain the services we provide to over 2,500 people living with HIV/AIDS in our community who look to Desert AIDS Project to provide food, shelter, medical care, education and advocacy.
