World AIDS Day

Every year, on December 1st, Desert AIDS Project and the rest of the nation and globe commemorates World AIDS Day to raise awareness, educate the public, and fight prejudice and stigma associated with HIV/AIDS.

World AIDS Day at Desert AIDS Project

Started by the World Health Organization in 1988, World AIDS Day is one of the most widely recognized international awareness days, serving as a reminder of all the lives taken away too early, and all the work left to do to beat the disease.
