Special Events

Events - Resource Development

Fundraisers and special events are primarily put on by the Resource Development Department. Working with the Resource Development Associates, Volunteer Services provides some pre-event volunteers and always provides day-of-event volunteers.

Some events with volunteer positions include:

Desert AIDS Walk Volunteer Coordinator – this volunteer assists the staff with much of the preliminary planning and advertising for the Walk.
Steve Chase Humanitarian Awards Gala Special Assistant – these volunteers provide assistance in various areas of this major fundraiser, ranging from silent auction, Honoree Handlers, and production assistance.
Dining Out For Life Assistants – these volunteers provide help with recruiting restaurants, managing ambassadors at the various restaurants during the event and assisting the event manager.
