Becoming A Client

Desert AIDS Project takes a holistic approach to care and well being with regards to people living with HIV/AIDS. Located in the lovely warm-weather community of Palm Springs, Desert AIDS Project provides you a perfect opportunity to live a healthy and happy life despite living with HIV.

Before you become a client at Desert AIDS Project

You must meet a 30-day residency requirement. This means you must live in the Palm Springs, Riverside County, or San Bernardino County area for at least one month before you can apply for services here! Please be sure you have an adequate supply of medications during this period.

The Process

STEP 1 – Print and complete the Intake Packet (Spanish/Español here)

STEP 2 – Set up an appointment. Call Ray Robertson at 760.323.2118 ext. 295 or .

STEP 3 – Bring the following required documents to your appointment:

  • Photo ID
  • Proof You've Lived in Riverside or San Bernardino County for 30 days
  • Proof of HIV Diagnosis
  • Proof of Insurance
  • Income Verification
  • Completed Intake Packet
